We want to extend to you a warm welcome to any of our Sunday services. We hope this post gives you a little insight about what a normal Sunday is like if you are visiting for the first time.
A Warm Welcome
When you enter our church, you will be kindly greeted by one of our members and offered a hymn book. We use Christians Hymns published by the Evangelical Movement of Wales in 1977. Our church has wheel chair access, comfortable seating and a loop system for those hard of hearing.
Our services usually last about an hour. We sing traditional hymns which remind us of Biblical truth about our Saviour. The minister in charge of the meeting will lead in Scripture reading, public prayer, as well as deliver a Biblically-based sermon. Some of our speakers give a children’s talk as well in the morning service. Following the notices, we do have an offering for any who feel led to give in support of the church .
Fellowship and Sunday School
Following the service, there is the opportunity for all to chat and enjoy fellowship together. There is also a children’s Sunday school following the service for young people of all ages, which includes Bible stories, crafts, singing and even a cup of tea and a biscuit!
Our evening service is quite similar to our morning service; often the same minister who leads in the morning ministers in the evenings as well. On the first and third Sunday in each month, we participate in the Lord’s supper – open to all born again believers as a memorial of our Saviour’s death on the cross. We encourage anyone to experience the blessing of spending both morning and evening of the Lord’s day in the Lord’s house.
